There are many hosts and supporters for this project, as it has been proposed. I extend thanks to my home community of Mount Pleasant, which is an infinitely inspiring place to live and work. Many thanks to the City of Vancouver, for including this project as part of their Artist Initiated Public Art Program. Thanks to you, of course, for your time and your attention as we work towards installing this project.

My deepest gratitude to the Musqueam, Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh First Nations, on whose ancestral territories I have made my home for almost 30 years. This work is about coexistence at the root, and any consideration of how we sustain ourselves in this city and elsewhere begins, for me, with a deep and evolving appreciation for the patience, generosity and sacrifice of Indigenous peoples in response to and as a result of settler presence on their unceded land.
