Norma is a collaborative group I have been working with since 2002. This image was taken on False Creek, just north of Science World, a Vancouver landmark from Expo 86. It was the culmination of a series of trips we took to ghost towns in British Columbia. We came back thinking of perfect campfires and ghost stories. This area of town, which has gentrified rapidly in recent years, seemed a perfect place to hang out and ponder ghosts.
The work was shown in Melbourne, Australia in an exhibition curated by the collaborative group DAMP.
